Children's Miracle Network

The moment a child arrives at their Children's Miracle Network Hospital, a miracle is in the making. With your support, we can give more local kids the miracles they deserve.

Since 1983, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than $5 billion -- most of it $1 at a time -- for 170 children's hospitals across the United States and Canada, which, in turn, use the money where it's needed the most. These donations have gone to support research and training, purchase equipment, and pay for uncompensated care, all in support of the mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

Right now there's a Children's Miracle Network Hospital working to save the lives of kids in your community. In fact, 62 children enter a Children's Miracle Network Hospital for treatment every minute - that's one child every second. Some are battling cancer. Some are suffering from a traumatic injury. Others require constant care because they were born too early, or with a genetic disease.

In Bakersfield and Kern County, Children's Miracle Network has raised over $15 million, solidifying its position as a leading contributor to the development of pediatric services in the region. The majority of these funds come from corporate sponsors and special events, including the Larry Carr Play Yellow golf tournament, presented by Valley Strong, and the CMN Day of Giving - Miracles on 34th Street, hosted by KGET-17.

Bakersfield Memorial Hospital has been a Children's Miracle Network partner since 1991. Every dollar raised through this partnership goes directly to the Lauren Small Children's Center, providing pediatric equipment, technology, programs, and health education for children. Your support for Children's Miracle Network ensures that children receive the specialized care they need and deserve.

Our dedicated sponsors, in collaboration with our hospitals and media partners, make Children's Miracle Network a globally recognized example of effective, efficient, and compelling teamwork for children.
