President's Circle

Help make possible the provision of state-of-the-art equipment and services at Memorial Hospital, where our community comes to bring our children into the world and to care for its family members throughout their lives.

The President’s Circle is an annual giving club for community leaders to support the healing ministry of Bakersfield Memorial Hospital. Members contribute $1000 each year. All funds raised go directly towards a project which President’s Circle members select for that year.

The President’s Circle meets two times per year for an evening reception or dinner. The second meeting celebrates completion of the project chosen that year.

Support from President's Circle members has provided funding for sleeper chairs to advance patient and family centered care and for capnography equipment to provide continuous CO2 monitoring for critically ill patients in Intensive Care. In 2019, members approved donations toward the purchase of a digital portable X-ray machine for use in Memorial's intensive care units.

By joining together in philanthropy, members support life-saving technology and services at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital.

Member support opportunities will include the Grossman Burn Center at Memorial Hospital, the Lauren Small Children’s Center, the Sarvanand Heart & Brain Center, the Robert A. Grimm Children’s Pavilion for Emergency Care, Maternal & Family Care and the full range of emergency, surgical and other services offered at Memorial.
