The Campaign for Memorial Hospital - Tower Campaign
The Bakersfield Memorial Hospital Foundation is currently conducting its third major fundraising campaign in Memorial's 50-year history.
To keep pace with community growth, BMH is building a new patient tower on the west side of the hospital campus. The most visible component of the expansion plan adds four floors and 114 private patient rooms above the existing Labor & Delivery area on San Dimas Street. The new tower will provide beds for Family Care on the second floor, a new Intensive Care Unit on the third floor, and new Medical/Surgical/Telemetry bed space on the fourth and fifth floors. These improvements carry a price tag of more than $84 million. The BMH Foundation has accepted the challenge of raising $6.5 million for this project.
Everyone is invited to join the campaign and keep BMH at the forefront of healthcare. After all, Bakersfield Memorial Hospital is your community hospital.
